My name is Trini. I shoot with a Nikon D5200. I don't know if I can rightly say that I have a favorite lens when I only have one good lens, but my favorite lens is my 50mm f/1.8. I have never received formal instruction on photography. I've been BSing my way through the world of photography but I've been told that it kind of looks like I know what I'm doing.

I've always been into the arts. I've been drawing ever since I learned how to hold a pencil, I did ballet for 10 years, I've been playing the piano for over half of my life, I sing in three choirs here at college, and I've dabbled into calligraphy and typography on more than one occasion. I got into photography relatively recently and my interest in it has grown a lot over the past year. I started out with a Nikon Coolpix L20, moved up to a Nikon Coolpix P310, and finally got my first DSLR (Nikon D5200) as a graduation present in 2014.
